Tech in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology from a recognized University or Institute
Scientist ‘B’ (Forensic DNA)Master’s degree in Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Zoology or Human Genetics having Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science from a recognized University; or Master Degree in Forensic Science with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science from a recognized University or institute OR Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from recognized University or institute

Written examinationThe category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by an interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
InterviewIn cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview, the candidate will have to achieve a minimum level of suitability in their respective category at the Interview stage.
